Advanced Network Support I (Level 5)

It is a complete in-depth hands-on by practising setup configuring, simple LANs, understanding subnetting, implementing VLANs and operating a small and medium-size enterprise network.

 

Generic Skills Addressed:

Understand, identify, and successfully build simple LANs by configuring routers and switches and operating a small and medium enterprise network.

 

Learning Outcomes

• Able to understand the Network fundamentals and how to build simple LANs
• Able to understand and implement custom subnetting, CIDR and VLSM
• Able to understand how networks function, identifying major components and the open system interconnection reference model
• Able to operate a medium-sized LAN with multiple switches, supporting VLANs, trunking, and spanning tree
• Able to understand, configure and troubleshoot EIGRP and OSPF
• Able to understand and operate medium-sized LAN with switches and routers
• Able to operate and troubleshoot IP connectivity
• Able to configure access control lists
